Over charged us

Peapod has abandoned regular customers during COVID-19

Peapod has abandoned its regular dedicated weekly customers. Any of us are infirm, have limited mobility, and grocery store shopping is not an option.

All delivery options are "sold out" 2 weeks in advance, and have been for a month.

Peapod should reserve time for these customers, letting them access a portal on a specified day of the week or two.

Additionally, when I did get a slot after 21 days, 50% of my order that was "in stock" at order cut off time was out of stock when delivered at 7:00 a.m.

the next day! This is profoundly unfair.

Preferred solution: Honor "in stock" status at order cut off time. Offer reserved time for regular VIP customers. Prioritize elderly or seriously disabled customers.

They are doing the best they can and likely maxing out orders every day. For you to assume only disabled individuals should access isn't right.

And furthermore you know nothing if the status of anyone else ordering.

The entire country is going through an ordeal right now. Be kind and try to plan the best you can.

My assumption is not that only disabled individuals should access. My suggestion is that time be set aside for LONGSTANDING REGULAR FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS -- some of whom are mobility-limited -- to have a chance for a once every two week time slot...if that.

And in view of the weeks between Peapod grocery delivery slots, honor "in stock" items at the time of order cut off. A friend only got 50% of a reasonable order - no eggs, no potatoes, no coffee, no bread. Is this also the case for Stop & Shop grocery stores? Are Stop & Shop grocery stores in New York State without potatoes, coffee, eggs or bread?

My neighbors who shop at the local Stop & Shop say that all these items are available. Peapod delivery drivers are SUPERB - they are beyond kind and thoughtful.

The huge bag left by driver that I did not need

I have been a Peapod customer for more than four or five years but since this virus situation I have only been able to get a delivery one time. I understand your volume at this time and have made other arrangements to get my groceries, however, The driver left a huge black bag with my groceries.

It wasnt being used for my groceries it was just a big black bag that is so big I have no place to put it, no storage space. I need some Peapod person to pick this bag up or Im going to have to throw it away and it is a beautiful nice bag and I hate to do that. I live in a very small apartment with no storage space. Terrible delivery

Order delivered incomplete. Many items missing or incorrect. Hours on the phone on hold. very difficult to find anybody to help with your incorrect order. I feel all I can do is dispute the credit card charge I am not really sure that will help, but it is a start. They must find me instead of me finding them.

Unsatisfied with pickup service

They change the pickup times at the last minute. They slash the order by sometimes half. Yet many of the ordered items are if in fact available on the stores shelves. As handicapped senior citizens, we have requested delivery but only pickup shows up. Our first order in Feb. was delivery, so we know what to do on the app. Site.

Understandably Its hard to get a delivery time, however when you finally get a delivery time your cart is full and then you go back and all of a sudden your scheduled delivery time is gone. You call customer service and you get hung up on the worst service ever. Im a first responder working doubles and need to feed my family also. This is horrible and makes me not even want to use your store let alone peapod anymore. Horrible.

Sounds like a problem on their end. Not good if you can't rely on it, especially during a pandemic

80 year old needs delivery time!!!!!

DEar Mr. Reid, I have been trying to get a delivery time for months now. I am a once a week customer of long duration. Husband and I are well over 80, have health issues and do not drive. You might think we would be treated with respect by Peapod but we are NOT! We live in Warwick, RI and hope you will see fit to line up delivery time for us. Please. We really need!!!! Upset that money is pulled from my account two weeks before delivery

Peapod no longer e-mails updates or final receipt on the day of delivery. Pulls money out of account two weeks before delivery date, Even today Peapod has pulled twice for almost 450.00 dollars on the same order and I can't get anyone on the phone, And half the order isn't there on delivery. Two week wait, I'm house bound Peapod was a life saver, Lately their terrible.
