Food Delivery Never Showed Up on June 4, 2021

My order was scheduled to be delivered on June 4th between 7 -9 p.m.. I first received an update that the driver was 3 stops away. When the page refreshed, a new notice said the driver was 5 stops away. Also, the invoice which appeared in my email had the correct street address and phone number, but showed I was living in another state (PA). By mid-night, with no delivery, I went to bed. The next day I called customer service to see what happened. No apology or explanation. I cancelled my credit card to avoid being charged $279.00 and now use a different food delivery service. I understand Peapod is looking to hire 700 part time employees in NY. I'm wondering if the workers are on strike. T T

I ordered groceries thru Peapod and tried to pay for my order with a money card which I had placed $500 on. The purchase totaling $170.43 was declined saying their were insufficient funds on my card. I called Peapod central to try and find out what went wrong and was referred to a woman using a phone system that sounded like she was using a can &; string mode, so I could barely understand her

Preferred solution: Spend a little of those hundreds of millions of dollars they make to upgrade their phone system to 21st century level. Hire some people in this country to deal with customer service and try to learn how to deal with customers.

Need credit for $4.99 for an article (a Quiche Lorraine) that arrived open and therefore not usable, on Saturday, Jan. 31 with my peapod order.Just need to know what person I should contact in order to correct this, since I don't want to have to come to Keep shopping on PeapodStop and Shop in East Wareham. Items on sale never fulfilled week after week. A bait and switch on o have you order but they never come through. Simple items that can be substituted store brand sour cream - no substitute. Really?

Iffy about ordering again

A number of items not received but paid for, some produce unusable (lettuce visibly brown all the way thru and others not fresh at all), plus they would not allow the order until I clicked and had to pay $10 for some kind of black bag that I never even got. I know they are swamped but I don't have money to burn like this. I was told by other shoppers the black bag is required with each order.

Rude delivery man and packages left at wrong apartment.

On January 11,2021 roughly 10-11 am a delivery to 351 commerce st Hawthorne ny, the delivery person rudely banging on the door and ringing the bell at the incorrect delivery apartment. At this address there was recovering heart patient and and 90 year old women who had to contend with this ignorant person. That person lucky I was at work for two reasons first I would have called the police, the second is that person would have had to contend with a healthy person. I think that should be fired. But I really dont expect anything to be done since we live in a very loose society. I will never use peapod again and I hope other people do the same.

I was also missing my invoice, I ordered 4 Pepsi and got 3. I only ordered 4 bec of the sale.

Not sure if I paid individually or sale price and one was missing. Unable to check much else.

Non receipt of merchandise and rude driver.

I ordered 5 poinsettia plants in 4 inch pots. I received 4. I want the credit for the one plant I did not receive. Driver was rude; he/she named Sonea was I said "Good morning" to, received no response. Asked this individual to place soda cases AGAINST the wall at the top of the stairs. The cases were placed ACROSS the top of the stairs. This is a fire hazard! I am partially disabled, I had to move these cases myself. Then I asked this individual if that was all the groceries. NO RESPONSE. Goes out and slams the apartment door. What type of customer is this?
